ASYMMETRICAL TREAD PATTERN : The asymmetric pattern allows the outboard side of the tread pattern to be tuned with rigid tread elements for outstanding dry handling and traction while the inboard side of the tread pattern is optimized for wet and light snow conditions.
SCS TECHNOLOGY : Stability Control Siping (SCS) utilizes 3-D sipes technology to stabilize tread elements providing enhanced handling in wet and dry conditions. SCS are full depth sipes which enhance the worn appearance and contribute to a even treadwear throughout the life of the tire.
TREAD PROFILE : New generation tread profile affording a more desired footprint geared toward uniform treadwear and optimal tire performance.
NEW GENERATION COUPLED SILICA COMPOUND : The secret to any tire’s traction begins at the molecular level. Silica provides exceptional all-season performance, improves braking, reduces heat generated in the tire and lowers rolling resistance for better fuel mileage. The LSR Grand Touring has a unique blend of silica which dramatically increases the tire’s all-season performance.
LIGHT WEIGHT CONSTRUCTION : Light weight construction and design for less rolling mass and increased fuel efficiency.
OPTIMIZED PITCH SEQUENCE (V/H-RATED ONLY) : The pitch sequence coupled with the advanced tread pattern layout provides lower in-vehicle noise.
